Julie bought us 1988 Volvo "Brick" Wagon to run around with. She's real happy to have some maneuverability (The first thing Hanna told me when I arrived was "We can turn around now!") and better than the motorhome's 10 miles per gallon.
It has some 21-year old car issues but is in surprisingly good condition. It idles rough and the power steering fluid looks like mud, but it always starts, has plenty of room, runs fine at highway speeds, is the only car I own without a broken windshield and has already been cheaper than renting!
